Yes, the Bronze Collection is my minimum package. If the 6 digitals offered in the Bronze Collection aren’t enough then you can upgrade to the Silver Collection which are 10 digitals.
I am a true believer that printing your artwork through Cain Photography is the best way to go. We understand everything in the world is digital but I encourage all my clients to #printyourphotos
That is totally fine, your Artwork credit will be forfeited. We are passionate about creating Artwork for our clients so this is more about making sure the end result ends up beautifully displayed on your home walls for a lifetime.
For family portrait experiences we would suggest Earth tones, off whites, neutral colours, black or dark grey. Matching outfits is always good, to ensure a gorgeous synergy between the artwork. BUT please no logos as they date quickly & no stripes as they are not flattering. I would suggest bringing a backup outfit in case there are any fashion clashes on the day. Also if you are unsure, just lay out your outfits on the bed (flat lay) and take a picture, send it to my by text or email so I can ensure you are all matching. As for winter outdoor sessions please come dressed in your outfits with big warm jackets over the top, so family members can be warm between snaps.
You can choose from the different maternity dresses from our closet and I also wrap many of my pregnant Mums, however feel free to bring along 2 changes for your session if you wish. I would suggest Earth tones, off whites, neutral colours, black and dark grey. For those beach sessions I have my trusty pop up changing room that I will bring along. Important- Please wear skin tone undergarments and please clean nails everyone.

Yes! all the Newborn wraps and props shown in my portfolio is included and stocked in my studio, after each client comes into contact with any wrap or prop, it is cleaned & sanitized. Any client has the option to choose from the Cain Photography Maternity closet , you don’t need to be doing a Maternity photoshoot to have access to this closet. You can choose two outfits online, but if you are worried they wont fit you are welcome to come and try on the clothes in my Subiaco studio prior to your photoshoot.
For nursing mums, suggested foods to avoid at least 48 hrs before your portrait experience are:
Spicy Foods – curry, cinnamon
Vegetables such as – onions, capsicum, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, asparagus, cucumbers, beans, tomatoes, ketchup
Citrus Fruits – pineapple, oranges, lemons, grapefruit,
Mercury-containing fish – mackerel, swordfish, shark, tuna
Other foods – peanuts, chocolate, caffeinated drinks, saturated fats.
Good Foods to eat – whole grains, brown rices, almond, avocados, eggs, lean meats, squash, apples, berries, milk, cheese, yogurt, melons & plenty of water.
Cain Photography only deals with professional print labs and suppliers, she has printed a tone of artwork through these prints labs and knows the quality of these products, she only prints with the best. Cain Photography takes the hassle out of printing photos and artworks- that is our job and we love it, it gives us the best vibes printing our work and handing it over to our gorgeous clients.
Tanitas immunization records are fully up to date. Please advise Cain Photography if you are feeling unwell, have a temperature or a cough or flu like symptoms, your session will need to be be rescheduled to another convenient date. Between shoots we ensure proper laundry washing, sanitizing and airing of the studio. I ask all clients to remove their shoes at the door before entering the studio.
Tanita’s flu and whopping cough vaccines are up to date, to protect the Newborn babies she comes into contact with. Tanita is a former flight attendant so she has had a plethora of vaccines that cover pretty much everything. Tanita has also been vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine.
Yes, Cain Photography has public liability insurance in place.
At Cain Photography we can’t control the weather and we constantly watch the weather report in the lead up to your shoot . If it is cloudy and windy this is OK to a certain extent, but any chance of rain above 75% we will either need to shoot inside (in our Subiaco studio) or we need to be flexible and we will need to reschedule to the next available date that is not raining.
We follow the sun and we meet 1 hour prior to dusk depending on the year, because sunset is just so magical, so approximate meet times are:

- March 6:00pm
- April 5:20pm
- May 5:00pm
- June 4:45pm
- July 4:45pm
- August 5:15pm
- September 5:30pm
- October 6:00pm
- November 6:15pm
- December 6:45pm
Then you can upgrade to the next collection where you have more images included and more products too.
2 weeks maximum. I want to make sure you LOVE your images, you get to choose how many images you would like to purchase. Either 6, 10, 20 or ALL images, depending on your collection and artworks you choose. Once you have chosen your favourite images I will do a final edit and you will get your High Res images via a downloadable gallery link. Then we order the artwork you have purchased from Cain Photography, and load the images into a downloadable gallery, all artwork will be ready for collection from Subiaco within 4-6 weeks. All images are provided to you in both Colour and Black & white.
As soon as you know you want to work with Cain Photography put simply. Newborns are best photographed between 5-14 days of age so they can curl up into those cute poses. No worries if your baby is past 14 days old, we can still conduct the session but please note there will be more awake shots. Maternity sessions are best booked 32-36 weeks, so you are still comfortable to move about. Family & Generation shoots should be booked well in advance, especially if you are celebrating milestones that require images to be created into beautiful wall Art or albums.
You sure can! What a gorgeous gift for your loved one! Only one gift voucher can be used per transaction. There is to be no combining of Gift Vouchers as per our T&C’s and they are non refundable . My standard gift voucher covers the session fee + the Bronze Collection which is our minimum Collection. Once purchased, I will send out your voucher to your requested mailing address. Please note vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase and can be purchased by clicking here.
